The American Society of Home Inspectors, founded in 1976, is one of the oldest, and most respected professional organizations of independent home inspectors in North America. Its Standards of Practice and strict Code of Ethics are benchmarks of Professional performance in the field.
To become an ASHI Certified Inspector, an inspector must meet rigorous professional and technical requirements, including the successful completion of one examination and an education module about our Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. In addition, he or she must perform at least 250 fee-paid inspections that meet or exceed the ASHI Standards of Practice as well as mandated yearly Continued Education.

MY NAME IS CHRIS ROSS
I started apprenticing for my dad prior to entering the Military. Richard Ross was an independent contractor for over 40 years. I served 9 years in the U.S. Navy in Southern California prior to entering the corporate world upon being discharged.
In 2014 my wife and I relocated to the Cape Neddick, Maine area where I decided to return to my roots. I am certified through American Home Inspection Institute (AHIT) as well as a Certified Inspector for the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). I come from an extensive family background of independent contractors and look forward to helping you assess your next home purchase.
